Arthur Dias Leaves Spurs Interest To Agent And Supporter Waits Outside Stadium Holding A Lanyard

Arthur Dias, 19, of Athletico Paranaense, told UmDois Esportes (as relayed by Sport Witness) that he leaves questions about offers to his agent, while Fichajes reports a €21m (£18m) Tottenham proposal was turned down in the summer.
A Tottenham man has taken up a position outside the stadium on a day with no match, in the belief that Arthur Dias's agent will need someone to meet him.
Dias, 19, told UmDois Esportes, as relayed by Sport Witness, that questions about offers and other clubs are something he leaves to his agent. The man read the sentence at 7:40am over a bowl of cereal and has been in position since nine.
He said he leaves it to his agent. Well, somebody has to be at the gate when the agent turns up.
The Herald understands the agent is not expected. Fichajes reports that a €21m (£18m) proposal from Tottenham was turned down in the summer, and Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest, Brentford and Barcelona are all said to be monitoring the player, none of which has so far produced a visitor to the forecourt.
The man has brought a clipboard, a flask and a lanyard, the card in which has been left blank so as not to prejudge the matter.
He has also taken Dias's remark that every player dreams of playing in the Champions League as addressed to him personally, and has prepared a reply. It is a laminated sheet of directions to the stadium from Seven Sisters station, with the pedestrian crossing marked.
I'm not saying he's read it. I'm saying it's here if he wants it.
A postman who passed at 11:15am was asked whether he was an agent. He said he was not. The man has recorded this as no comment and returned to the clipboard.
He has moved into the shade.
