Corrections & Clarifications

The Herald is committed to accuracy in all matters concerning a football club. Where we fall short, we say so here, briefly, and then move on.

  1. 3 October 2026

    Yesterday's report described a supporter as "livid". He was merely furious. We apologise for the inflation.

  2. 2 October 2026

    The Herald stated that a season ticket holder's spreadsheet had eleven columns. It has twelve. The twelfth is headed "SUSPICIOUS?".

  3. 2 October 2026

    An article on Thursday said the group chat had reached a formal position. It had reached two formal positions, both final.

  4. 1 October 2026

    A caption identified a man outside the stadium as "waiting". He has asked us to make clear he was "monitoring the situation".

  5. 1 October 2026

    Our Player Ratings Desk awarded a four to a substitute who did not come on. On review the desk stands by the four.

  6. 30 September 2026

    We reported that a reader had been saying this since August. He has written to say it was late July, and that he would like this noted.

  7. 29 September 2026

    A Paper Talk item counted six articles produced from one Dutch sentence. By the time of printing there were nine. The sentence is unchanged.

  8. 28 September 2026

    The Herald regrets describing a 1-1 draw as "a turning point". It was a 1-1 draw.
