Udogie Minutes Report Sends Supporter To Stadium Forecourt Where He Withdraws After Seventy Minutes

A column published on Monday says Destiny Udogie should be Tottenham's starting left-back but needs his minutes carefully managed, and a local man on a non-match day has taken the second part personally.
A Tottenham man has begun managing his own minutes outside the stadium, following a column which states that Destiny Udogie should be the club's starting left-back and that his playing time must be handled with care.
The column, published on Monday, notes that Udogie did not complete 90 minutes at Old Trafford on Saturday, being withdrawn after Bryan Mbeumo's opener, with Micky van de Ven covering the position. It describes the performance as excellent.
The man took up position on the left of the forecourt at 10:02am. By 11:12am, after seventy minutes, he had withdrawn to a low wall and was seen to sit down.
I felt something. Nothing specific. It's the sort of thing you manage.
He described the complaint as a general tightness in the area of the left, and sought no further assessment beyond a flask of tea, which he was observed to hold in the affected hand.
A neighbour, who had been walking past with shopping, was deployed as the alternative solution and took the left side of the forecourt on a folding stool. He is understood to have been told it was a rotation and not a demotion.
The column closes by hoping that the bug stays away from Udogie. The man has taken this literally, and was seen checking his own collar twice before noon.
He is expected to return on Thursday on a reduced load of fifty minutes, subject to review.
The forecourt was unaffected.
