Alasdair Gold reported in Football London that Lucas Bergvall and Mateus Fernandes were missing from the club's latest training clip, with Fernandes on personal leave, and De Zerbi is expected to update on Bergvall at his pre-match press conference.

A Tottenham man spent this morning on the forecourt of the stadium filming himself on a telephone, after learning that two players were not seen in the club's latest training clip from Hotspur Way.

The Herald understands he read the report by Alasdair Gold in Football London, which stated that Lucas Bergvall and Mateus Fernandes were absent from the footage, and that Fernandes had been granted personal leave by the club.

The man was quick to separate the two cases. Fernandes, he said, was a positive explanation. Bergvall, in his clinical assessment, was a non-appearance, which he distinguished from an injury by the absence of a limp, there being no footage of one either.

If you're not in the clip, you're not in the clip. I'm just making sure I'm in the clip.

He then walked past Turnstile Four, stopped, turned and walked back, reviewing each pass on the screen. By midday he had recorded eleven of fourteen takes in which he was clearly visible. The remaining three were attributed to a bin.

The manager, Roberto De Zerbi, is expected to give an update on Bergvall at his pre-match press conference. The report states there is currently no confirmed indication that the midfielder is injured, a point the man has acknowledged and set aside.

It is understood the man is not injured himself, though he has placed himself on a graded return to frame and is being monitored by a pigeon on the railings. He has also noted that Dejan Kulusevski is closer to a full return, and has begun stretching in sympathy, mainly from the hip.

The press conference is due tomorrow. He has booked the forecourt until then.
