Takvim, as relayed by Sport Witness, reports that Hull City have joined Tottenham in monitoring the Besiktas striker, whose manager Vincenzo Italiano is said to want him kept through January.

A Tottenham man has taken up position at the front of a queue outside the stadium, following reports that Hull City have entered the race for Oh Hyeon-gyu.

The Herald understands he arrived shortly after seven on Sunday morning, carrying a folding stool, a flask and a firm view on the order of precedence. The stadium was closed. It remains closed.

The Besiktas striker has been linked with Spurs, who are yet to win in the Premier League and have scored twice in five. Takvim, via Sport Witness, now says Hull are also interested, and that Italiano would prefer the forward stayed in Istanbul through the winter.

They've only just heard about him. I've known since the first report. That puts me ahead, and I'd like that written down somewhere.

The man has since established that the queue behind him is empty, which he describes as encouraging but not conclusive. He has asked a passing delivery driver to join it as a precaution, and the driver declined.

The Herald notes that Son Heung-min is reported to have recommended the player, a detail the man regards as having settled it. He has accordingly stopped checking his phone, and begun checking it again.

He confirmed he does not know where Hull's queue is, nor whether Hull queue at all, and intends to remain until he has been told.

The flask is nearly empty.
