A Tottenham v Coventry TV channel, live stream and kick-off guide carries a Sky Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle at £35, down from £51, and notes that the publisher receives a commission on any sales.

A Tottenham man has mounted a roof aerial to the railings of the stadium, after a guide to the Coventry fixture offered him a Sky bundle, a price and no instruction as to where to point it.

The guide, a piece on the match's TV channel, live stream and kick-off time, carries a notice stating that the publisher will receive a commission on any sales. The man has read the notice twice and taken it as a sign that the page is on his side.

The bundle, Sky's Essential TV and Sky Sports package, is offered at £35 against a usual £51, and promises at least 215 live Premier League games across 2026/27, with more than 1,500 from the EFL and beyond.

Two hundred and fifteen. You don't get that from a living room. You get that from the gate.

The package further includes F1, golf and darts, 100 regular channels, and free Netflix and discovery+, none of which the man has so far received on a gatepost. He has nonetheless fitted a second, smaller aerial for the darts.

The Herald understands the stated saving of £384 has been entered in a pocket notebook as money already in hand. On the strength of it the man has declined two offers of a coffee and one of a lift.

Staff at the ground, which is closed on a non-match day, confirmed that the aerial is attached to the railings and to nothing else. The man says that is a matter for the broadcaster.

The aerial remains pointed at Coventry.
