Parish Council Notes Tyrese Hall Chip After Marbella And Moves Item To Any Other Business
Desmond Parry · Chief Football Correspondent · Reading time: one pint
Tyrese Hall scored a chip in Tottenham U21s' 2-0 win over Leicester, according to Spurs Web, less than 24 hours after returning from Marbella, and the result took the side top of Premier League 2.
The Amenities Sub-Committee of the parish council met on Tuesday evening to consider a chip scored by Tyrese Hall for Tottenham's U21s against Leicester, and agreed that it was delightful, subject to a second viewing.
The clip, which Spurs Web reports shows Hall lifting the ball over a goalkeeper who had played a mispass straight to him, was shown on the clerk's second monitor. The first monitor was occupied by the agenda.
Members were told that Hall had returned from Marbella with the first team less than 24 hours earlier, one of seven academy players on the trip, according to Alasdair Gold. The chair asked for the time of return to be read out twice.
I'm not saying it wasn't a good finish. I'm saying I'd want to see it from behind the goal.
The remark was made by a retired member who has attended every meeting since the bus shelter item and was not asked to elaborate.
The committee then noted that Elisha Sowunmi had doubled the lead, sweeping the ball home with his left foot from close to the penalty spot after being picked out with a cut-back. The second goal was received with a nod and recorded as noted.
A motion to describe the first goal as a beauty, the wording used in the report, was carried five votes to two. One member asked for delightful to be minuted instead and was told it already had been. The result, which leaves the side top of Premier League 2, was read into the record last.
The clerk was asked to play the clip again for the member who had been making the tea. The clip was shown a third time.
