Correspondence received at this newspaper, printed in full and without correction.

Sir,

I write regarding Saturday's result, which I predicted. I would direct your readers to my correspondence of 14 August, in which I set out precisely this outcome, and to my correspondence of 22 August, in which I set out the opposite outcome, which should be disregarded.

I have been saying this since August. I said it in the pub, I said it on the way home, and I said it to a man at the garage who did not ask.

I am not asking for credit. I am asking for acknowledgement, which is different, and arguably more.

It is not my habit to write to newspapers. This is my fourth letter this month.

I remain, sir, entirely vindicated,

A Reader, N17

The Herald notes that the reader's letter of 14 August concerned parking.
