John Wenham told Tottenham News that academy parents describe 16-year-old Kwasi Senyah as a little Pogba, and the table on the forecourt is six feet long.

A Tottenham man has set up a trestle table, one chair and a paper tablecloth on the forecourt of the stadium, after reading that parents at the academy describe a 16-year-old as "absolute top table".

The Herald understands the phrase was relayed by John Wenham, who runs the Lilywhite Rose academy platform, to Tottenham News. It concerns Kwasi Senyah, who joined from Wolves in September and has come on as a substitute for the Under-18s.

The man, a season ticket holder, read the report once at 7.40am. By 8.15 he had understood it to be a seating arrangement.

They said top table. You don't say that about a lad unless there's a table. I'm just getting ahead of it.

The table was borrowed from a church hall and carries a single place setting, a jug of water and a name card, which has been left blank pending developments.

Mr Wenham's report notes that the player stands at 5'10 with plenty of room to grow. The man has accordingly left a further two feet of tablecloth at the far end.

The report is sourced to parents, none of whom were available for comment. The man has not approached them, saying they have said enough.

He has since added a second, smaller chair, for the comparison.

The jug is full.
