Football.London's Alasdair Gold reports Tottenham commercial income of £277m in the 2024/25 accounts, with NFL revenue up five to 10 per cent according to sources, and the stadium was closed on Tuesday.

A Tottenham man has travelled to the stadium in person to collect what he describes as his portion of £277m, following a report that the club's commercial income has reached that figure.

The figure was published by Football.London, where Alasdair Gold set out the club's 2024/25 accounts and compared them with the last years at White Hart Lane, when commercial income was £73m. The man read the comparison twice and then found his coat.

He arrived at approximately ten past nine, a full five days after the Colts beat the Commanders 30-13 in front of 60,907 people, and found the gates shut and the forecourt empty but for a man with a hose.

It says six million a game now and one million at the Lane. I've been to loads of games. Somebody's got my change.

The Herald understands the report also states that NFL revenue has risen by between five and 10 per cent over the last couple of years, a detail the man has taken to mean he is owed a rising amount, and has written down.

He was informed by the man with the hose that the only open counter was the megastore, which he regarded as the correct department and entered with some purpose.

He was last seen at the till with a carrier bag, explaining the arithmetic to a member of staff, who nodded throughout.

He left with a scarf.
